Our Story

Founded in 2011 by professionals with advanced training and extensive experience in the U.S. pharmaceutical industry, WeCare began as a strategic wholesaler, distributing products imported by others.

2011-2016: Building Foundations

For the first five years, we focused on building trust, reliability, and deep relationships with clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, and NGOs across Ethiopia. This grassroots growth allowed us to understand the real needs of healthcare providers and patients—identifying gaps in quality, availability, and efficacy of medicines in the market.

2016-Present: Strategic Expansion

Leveraging this insight and our strong customer base of 500+ healthcare institutions, WeCare made a strategic pivot: transitioning from a distributor of others' products to a full-fledged importer and marketer of high-quality, WHO GMP-certified pharmaceuticals.
